3. Judy Bayley

Not many folks know about Judy Bayley and that’s a right tragedy. The First Lady of Gambling was what she was known by and for good reason. In 1956, she with her hubby opened a casino called the Hacienda. Sometime later, her husband, Warren Bayley left for the great beyond, leaving her the sole owner and operator of a casino for the first time in Nevada history. This should have been a cause for celebration, except for the inconvenient fact that the casino had debts that were crippling its operations. Still, she was able to make a name for herself and enter the record books as the individual who among other feats brought Live Keno to the iconic Las Vegas Strip.

4.Annette Obrestad

Youngest Ever World Series Of Poker Champ, Annette Obrestad had an unusual talent for poker playing and is reckoned as one of the most successful female gamblers of her generation. Online poker playing was her first love and in 2007 she became the youngest ever male or female to win the coveted World Series of Poker Europe. Not one to rest on her oars, this well decorated female gambler then, partook in such high profile events as the Aussie Millions and European Poker Tour. In 2010, she won the Aussie Millions, with more successes to follow.
